THE FIRST AIRBAG BORN FOR MOTORCYCLISTS
Since 1972 Dainese has been making the history of motorcycling safety.
D-air® detects automatically an unsafe situation and it activates to protect. It is the first airbag system designed specifically for motorcyclists. The natural evolution of their mission: to create the next frontier in the protection of humans.
MADE FOR THE RACE TRACK
More than 20 years of testing on the most demanding MotoGP circuits in the world made possible the development of a specific D-air for racing, capable to detect automatically the hazardous situations on the track and to protect key areas, activating before an actual impact on the body.
D-Air Racing covers the shoulders, collarbones and on the Mugello suit the false ribs. It activates at 31 mph and it records your track lap times, acceleration and deceleration, lean angle and positioning.
Superior safety means additional confidence to improve the performance.
MADE FOR EVERY ROAD
Dainese D-air specific version for the road use is engineered with the same technologies adopted in MotoGP but designed to meet street use peculiar needs. The airbag of D-air covers the most sensible areas of the rider, while the electronic control unit is calibrated to detect hazardous situations on the road and to activate before an actual impact on the body.
D-Air Road covers the chest, shoulders, collarbones and back and activates at 6.2 mph.
